To study DNA radiation damage in our laboratory are used, among others, the following methods:

• Analysis of incidence of dicentric chromosomes using classical cytogenetic methods (CA)

• Analysis of incidence of translocations using FISH (Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization) technique

• PCC analysis (Premature Chromosome Condensation ) - premature chromatin condensation in the version with CHO cells (Chinese Hamster Ovary ) and chemical induces fusion

• Analysis of gene expression using RT-PCR technique ( Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction)
