This workshop intends to review the state of mechanisms of cellular injury induced by protons to normal and tumor tissue in comparison with photons, and mind map expert opinions on the above intriguing biological mechanisms of proton biology. Invited experts will try to explore feasibility of translation the fundamental knowledge gathered during last years of experimental and clinical studies. One of the goals is to integrate biomarkers with precision radiotherapy.
