On June 13, 2023, the Institute of Nuclear Physics PAN hosted a General Assembly of the Members of the Polish Academy of Sciences - Krakow Branch - with the participation of Directors of the Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences from Krakow.
The session was the second round of scientific meetings at Krakow institutions with the aim to integrate the environment related to the Polish Academy of Sciences in the sphere of interdisciplinary research and scientific cooperation. The schedule of the session included: information on current activity of the Branch reported by the President of the Krakow Branch - prof. Karol Życzkowski, and presentations devoted to the activity of the Institute delivered by prof. Tadeusz Lesiak, prof. Bogdan Fornal, dr hab. Wojciech Królas, IFJ PAN professor, and dr Ewa Pięta. After the official part of the Session, the guests visited the Cyclotron Centre Bronowice and the Laboratory of Radiometric Expertise.
