Participation in the UniSAFE program

Dear Sir/Madam,

IFJ PAN has been invited to participate in studies conducted within the European UniSAFE (Horizon 2020) project, whose aim is to acquire knowledge on the problem of gender-based violence in European research organizations and to translate this knowledge into actions to counteract the negative phenomenon.

The survey examines experiences of gender-based violence and related attitudes and behaviours among staff and students, including physical violence, psychological violence, economic and financial violence, sexual violence, sexual harassment, gender harassment, stalking, organisational violence and harassment - in both online and offline contexts.

Over 45 universities and research centers from 15 European countries take part in the studies. The coordinator of this initiative in Poland is the Jagiellonian University.

We would like to inform you that the study will be carried out next week, starting from Monday, March 21, 2022.

It will take the form of a survey.

The link to the questionnaire shall be sent to you on March 21, 2022, and the survey will be open until April 17. The questionnaire and the supporting material (integrated with the questionnaire) shall be available in Polish and English.

The survey is conducted by GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, a partner of the UuiSAFE project in charge of quantitative research.
All data collected with the help of this survey will be fully anonymous, without any possibility of respondent identification. They will also be properly aggregated to exclude any potential breach of confidentiality. IFJ PAN shall have access only to anonymous institutional data. The bulk data from the survey shall be accessible in July 2022.

We strongly encourage you to take part in the survey.

On behalf of IFJ PAN, the UniSAFE study is supported by the following bodies:
