The Institute cooperates with the most significant research institutions in the world:

  • European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN in Geneva
  • a group of French IN2P3 institutes, the Institut Laue-Langevin
  • Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) in Dubna
  • German institutes: DESY in Hamburg, GSI in Darmstadt, KFZ in Jülich
  • Japanese research center KEK in Tsukuba
  • Italian laboratories in Legnaro, Milan and Pisa, and the University of Ferrara
  • international organization – the European Spallation Source in Lund, Sweden

The vast majority of research at IFJ PAN is conducted as part of international projects. The most significant within this research is our involvement in all phases of construction and operation of main physical experiments.
