Elsevier OA Programs

The program has two parts: A and B. Program A covers the publication of a limited number of articles that are exempt from the Article Processing Charge (APC) under a national license agreement. Program B allows you to publish an unlimited number of articles for which the APC is paid at a discount by the author or by the institution where the author is affiliated.

Programs A and B are intended for correspondent authors affiliated with institutions covered by the Elsevier national license.

  • "Author Journey" - presentation of the form for the B program (access only from authorized IP numbers)

What type of license should I choose?
In the "Author journey" form, it is possible to choose from two types of licenses for open publishing: CC-BY and CC-BY-NC-ND. This choice does not affect the possibility of using programs A and B. Please note, however, that CC-BY is indicated as the preferred license in Plan S.
